Uses:

The leaves can be chopped and added to soups and stews, in pasta or risotto dishes. They can also be used to make pesto.

When and where to find it: 

Grows in Spring. Usually found in woods and damp. Shady locations. Forms wide carpets across the woodland floor.

Other Observations: 

Grows from a bulb, leaves grow from the base of the plant and are bright green in colour, they have a very strong garlic smell to them. The white flowers are starlike.
